Besstem UPVC Pipe and Fittings Rainwater Downpipes are generally manufactured from Unplastized Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC-U). Ring seals are EPDM and Natural Rubber complying with the requirements of BS 2494:1976.

Besstem UPVC Pipe and Fitting have the complete range of Pipe and Fittings are available in Seven (7) nominal sizes ie :- 50mm (2") ; 82mm (3') ; 110mm (4") ; 160mm (6") ; 200mm (8") ; 250mm (10") ; & 315mm (12"). Standard pipe length is 6 Metre long Plain Ended.

Besstem BS4576 UPVC Rainwater Downpipe System complies where applicable with the requirements of :-

  1. BS 4576: Part 1:1970 and BS 4576: Part 1:1989 Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC-U) rainwater goods and accessories. It is suitable for internal and external exposed installations.
  2. ISO 3633:1991(E) Unplasticized Poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) Pipes and fittings for soil and waste discharge (low and high temperature) system inside buildings. It is suitable for internal and external exposed installations.
  3. ISO 4422-2:1996 (E) Pipes and fittings made of Unplastized Poly (Vinyl Chloride) (PVC-U) for water supply. It is suitable for casting within reinforced concrete (RC) columns and also for buried underground sump's connection.
